The moon eclipses are happening when the moon is at the shadow of Earth, at the same or almost the same straight line.  A moon eclipse can only happened during a full moon. When the moon is totality in the shadow of Earth then we have full eclipse and Partial when only a part of the moon rests in Earth. Moon eclipses are happens every year but they are not visual from all the places. The next images are from total and partial eclipses of the years 2008 & 2009. The next visible total eclipse from Greece will be at 24^th of December of 2010.
